Christel Ladegaard holds an MSc in Business Administration and Corporate Communication from Copenhagen Business School and has studied marketing and management at the Carlson School of Management. She is the author of the Danish bestseller STEMMERET and works as a keynote speaker and trainer in presentation and communication skills. For the past 14 years, Christel has trained professionals in many of Denmark’s largest organizations, helping thousands of leaders, specialists and project managers communicate with greater clarity and impact. She has also coached speakers for some of the country’s largest stages and conferences. In her training, she focuses on helping people use their voice with confidence and authenticity.

Kenn L. Hansen holds a master’s in Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen, where his thesis dealt with the persuasive potential of PowerPoint. As the founder of EPO, he has trained more than 10,000 people since 2005. Danish football fans may recognise him from his eight years as a referee in the Danish premier league, the Superliga. He was voted Referee of the Year in 2012 and 2014 and when he left the sport in 2015 he was the league’s highest-ranking referee. As an instructor and conference speaker, Kenn draws on his experience from the pitch. He is the regular trainer for some of Denmark’s leading consultancies and has extensive experience as an executive coach.

Jesper holds a master’s in Finance from Copenhagen Business school and studied communication at the University of Oregon. During the past 20 years, he has worked with some of Denmark’s largest firms and public institutions to improve their internal and external communication. One of his focus areas during this period has been consulting and training executives and sales staff to develop and deliver better presentations. Jesper’s time in the finance and insurance industry, and later as an independent consultant and trainer, has given him an understanding of the challenges of creating effective communication from the perspective of both the presenter and audience.

Jacob Schjødt is an award-winning director who has staged performances at Denmark’s leading theatres. Besides training for EPO, he is the executive artistic director at Odense Theatre. He holds a degree in Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen and trained at the Danish National School of Performing Arts. The combination of academic and practical training, coupled with real-world insight into the use of body language and theatrical technique, provides him with a unique foundation for providing instruction in verbal communication. Jacob has 15 years’ experience as a presentation-technique and PowerPoint instructor, and he has provided training for a wide range of firms and organisations.

Iben B. Øibakken holds an MA in Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen, specializing in hybrid meetings. She teaches and advises on presentation skills and verbal communication. In her trainings, she focuses on helping participants structure clear messages and connect with their audience. With her background in rhetoric, she is particularly interested in how message, audience and context interact – especially when communication takes place across both physical and digital settings.

Pelle Nordhøj Kann trained as an actor at the Danish National School of Performing Arts. He has performed and directed for theatre companies of all sizes and has more than a decade of experience as a theatre manager. Pelle is the regular trainer for the Danish Broadcasting Company’s musical ensembles. He also provides training for the Royal Academy of Music and the Zetland journalists’ network. Thanks to his experience as an actor, director and manager, Pelle is able to identify what skills his participants need to improve on in order to become effective communicators.

Dorte Koch is a voice coach specialising in presentation technique. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and holds a master’s from Roskilde University. During her 30-year career, she has helped lawmakers, executives and performers improve their communication skills. Dorte uses techniques and exercises developed for performers in her training. These exercises are designed to improve the speaker’s presence, connect with the audience and, ultimately, get their message across more effectively. In 2010, Dorte published Find din stemme (Find Your Voice).

Charlotte R. Larsen is EPO’s office manager. She is the voice you hear when you call us, but she does much more than answer our phones. In addition to being responsible for planning all training sessions, she takes care of invoicing and contracts.
